I came here with a friend to catch up during lunch and I was quite impressed with the whole presentation! I personally felt like the sashimi was up to par with my standards and overall my experience here was really good. The pieces of fish given were generously sized well and it didn't taste like it was getting old which I always scan out for when it comes to sashimi types of meals.
The restaurant itself is averagely sized; it feels like a typical asian restaurant which has like around 10-12 tables total. What I really enjoyed was the service. I felt like the server we had was very attentive most of the time as she constantly refilled our drinks and always asked if everything was satisfactory on our table.
As for the food, I ordered the regular chirashi bowl. I always gravitate towards this all the time whenever I crave japanese food and I definitely wasn't disappointed. I've had better for sure, but for what you can get in Menlo Park this place is kinda like a hole-in-wall to try out if you're around the area! I'd come back again for sure. -

Food: 3/5 I got the sashimi bento. I personally thought they were okay. Definitely not the freshest fish though. I probably wouldn't get it again though.
Price: $$ The sashimi bento was $19.99
Service: 4/5 The service was good, but the food took quite long to come out.
Overall, my first time experience was decent. -

Best sashimi on the peninsula. Great cuts very fresh. 25 bucks are you kidding me?! My new go to I love it

Cute little resto hidden away in Menlo Park about a mile from Facebook . Popped in for a quick bite and was pleased. We had the Chicken Donburi and Veggie Yakemishi (fried rice). Both meals came with Miso soup and salad. Also had the Gyoza appetizer. Good service and open until 9 on weekdays.

Rotten Sushi. I don't think I've ever had sushi so bad. Honestly it tasted like vomit. Shocked at the quality given the cost. 3 rolls cost about $50 after tax. Stay away...
